First Swimming Stars Arrived in Berlin

The name of the second leg after the FINA/airweave Swimming World Cup in Moscow is: Berlin!

Numerous World Champions and World Cup winners arrived yesterday, swimming their laps in the pool of the Europasportpark. Little by little, the starting field will round off in the course of the day. On Sunday 6th August 2017, competitions of the second leg of the World Cup will start. Swimming fans can look forward to see big names: Sarah Sjöström (SWE), already impressed in Moscow with setting two new world records in the 50 and 100m free, moreover also winning the 100m butterfly. Beyond doubt, three times gold winners Katinka Hosszu (HUN) and Chad le Clos (RSA) are further stars of this year’s Swimming World Cup in Berlin.
